20 Under 40: Visions of the future
Edward P. Clapp, had a thought, who will be our new leading arts thinkers, administrators, policymakers, and practitioners—and in what social, cultural, and political landscapes will these individuals operate? He continued this thought long enough to to decide to start a project devoted to answering this question. He put out a call for essays from artist from every walk of life voicing their opinions and ideas. Of course the call for essay submission happened awhile back (sorry, there’s a lot going on in the world and I can’t be on top of everything!) but I’m excited to see what he curates together. As these collection of ideas is intriguing. It will also be interesting to see a future publishing reflecting these ideas of the future and what is the future/present. Ugh, actually maybe that’s the subject of an interesting documentary that I’ll make in the year 2040 at the age of 70.
